Data sources

iFlight Pro combines public and licensed aviation data. We're grateful to these sources.

Live aircraft positions (Live airport view)

Community ADS-B data from adsb.lol, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Positions refresh about every 10 seconds; coverage depends on volunteer receivers.

Airport delays, ground stops & delay programs

FAA National Airspace System (NAS) Status and the ATCSCC Operations Plan (public U.S. government data).

Weather (METAR / TAF / PIREPs)

NOAA Aviation Weather Center — aviationweather.gov (public U.S. government data). City weather from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0).

NOTAMs

FAA NOTAM data (public U.S. government data). Plain-English summaries are written by AI and may contain errors — always check the official NOTAM.

Maps & terminal amenities

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Airport reference data from OurAirports (public domain).

Hotels, restaurants & places nearby

Hotel details, nearby places, hours and ratings (Hotel tab and the Layover Assistant) come from Google Maps. Crew hotel notes and tips are written by iFlight Pro members.

Flight status

Live flight status, gates and delays come from licensed commercial flight-data providers.

AI summaries

Some summaries (airport conditions, trip briefs, layover answers, schedule parsing) are generated by AI from the data above and may be incomplete or wrong.
